I met with Lindsay, the participant of my recent casting call, for our mini maternity session this morning. She is due next month with identical twin girls! I had some belly envy and couldn’t believe how great she looks! Pregnancy didn’t slow her down one bit.
Here are a few from our session today. Lindsay, congrats on your upcoming arrival and thank you for being such a willing model today!

amy: awww she's adorable and I'm only a little (LOT) jealous.

Lindsay: i LOVE how these turned out!!

Izetta Szopinski: I used to buy Sobe drinks because it was one of the only drinks sold in glass bottles. They don't any more, so I don't buy them anymore.

Meet Scarlett, 11 days old. She was a feisty one! It took me two hours to get this little girl to sleep. Once she was asleep, she was out for the count! She has the most perfect skin and adorable head of hair.

N, I had fun hanging out yesterday and snuggling your new little addition. Congrats!

kim: Love! Nice work!

You may have noticed things look a little different around here. Valerie Ackerman Photography had a makeover! I changed up the colors and logo to reflect my style as it is now. I hope you all like it!

Because I don’t like to post without a photo (or 2), here are a couple of my boys from Disneyland last week. Enjoy!

I am so happy to share these images on the blog! Today my amazing husband hung my canvases up at my OBGYN’s office in Upland, CA. Hopefully the patients will enjoy these images up on the walls while they are waiting for their appointment.

These are 20×24 canvases going above a wall where the patients wait.

Another 20×24 on an opposite wall

This is a 30×40 canvas (of my own little Kingston!)

These three are actually my OB’s twin babies, hanging above the reception area.

Another 20×24 in the hallway

Fine along with your permission allow me to take hold of your RSS feed to keep up to date with approaching post. Thanks a million and please keep up the rewarding work.

I had the pleasure of meeting sweet B this weekend for her newborn portraits. She put up a long fight to get to sleep. Once I got her down, she was out for the count (well, until she pooped on the blanket ;)  ).

I just love her full head of hair and pouty lips! Stay tuned for her sneak peek, part 2, later this week!

Jenn: That last one makes me swoon. Love these

I love doing sessions with friends because I never really feel like I am working. Jenn and Dave were no exception. They are expecting their first baby (girl!) next month, so we ventured out for some maternity portraits to document this exciting time for them.

Can I say that Jenn looks amazing! I have serious “bump” envy over here. She is absolutely glowing.

Anyways, on to the pictures! Jenn and Dave, enjoy your sneak peek!

I met sweet L & S this weekend for their 7 month portraits. How is it possible they are already 7 months!!? They are oh so adorable, but not generous with the smiles on Saturday. :) I could have seriously held them all day long. Does it get any cuter than this? Really!

K&K, enjoy your sneak peek! I had so much fun on Saturday hanging out with your adorable daughters.

For fun, here is their newborn pictures just this February!

Til next time!
