Mr. Ryan had me on my toes for a while, anticipating his arrival. He was a couple days overdue, but didn’t bother taking his time once he was ready to come out!

I actually missed this birth (as I approached the birthing room I head a baby crying and my heart  sank). Mama just had a remarkably fast delivery and practically coughed little Ryan out.

Weighing in at just 7lbs, he is a perfect little peanut. He was so alert during my visit at the hospital (let’s hope that changes once his newborn session comes ;)  ).

I loved cuddling, photographing Charlotte today. She has changed so much in the  8 short days she has been on this planet.

She slept like a dream, only waking to eat, and do what babies with no diaper do all over my props I could have photographed her all day long, but I’m sure Jenn and Dave were getting sick of me, hehe.

I think I did these for myself more than anything else. I loved seeing everybody’s kiddos dressed up in their Halloween costumes today! The afternoon flew by quickly and was a hit!

My oldest, Eric, was NOT about having his picture taken at all today. He was too busy on the playground. I did get one of Kingston though. Big thanks to my husband for coming along and helping today!

Today I had the chance to be part of some thing so special. I photographed Jenn and Dave’s engagement, wedding, maternity, and today, the birth of their first daughter, Charlotte. Birth is truly an amazing experience and Jenn handled it like a pro. She was so calm and collected and I am so proud to call her my friend today. Jenn and Dave, congrats on your baby girl, she is perfect in every way. Enjoy the sneak peek!

And HOW cool is Charlotte’s birthday, 10/10/10? She wasn’t due for another 11 days, but she apparently knew today would be an awesome day to be born.

I met these stunning parents, Roger and Beatriz, yesterday for their maternity session. They are welcoming their first child (a boy!) into this world in just a few short weeks. I cannot wait to see what he looks like!

I love working with repeat clients. It makes the session so easygoing and fun, like you are working with old friends. I had the pleasure or working with the B family again for their maternity photos. I photographed Sara just last July when she was expecting little S, and now got the chance to work with them again as they are anticipating their arrival of their baby boy, Ryan. They are going to have quite a full house with 3 kids!
