I was so excited to shoot this engagement session. Candice is a childhood friend who I have known since I was 11 years old! She is engaged to the sweetest guy, Matt, and they are getting married in April. I love working with friends, it makes the session so relaxed! I can’t wait for their wedding and seeing what the future has in store for these two.

I met this little sweetie at just 6 days old. He was so good to me during our session! Mom and Dad had originally planned for me to be there and photograph his birth, but he needed to be delivered via c section, and I wasn’t able to be present. But he is here and healthy and mom looks fabulous.

Congrats R&D on your new addition, he is just perfect!

I already blogged this sweet Newborn (Danica, see below)! She made her appearance a whopping 6 weeks early, so I’m happy we were able to do the maternity pictures in time while she was still in her mama’s belly.

Can you believe this little sweetie was already 2 weeks old by the time I got to her?! She was 6 weeks early! I had just saw mama for her maternity pictures, when she called to set up the newborn session. Her due date is at the end of this month, so I was caught a bit off guard to find out sweet Danica had already arrived. Guess she just wanted to surprise everybody and come at her own time.

She slept like a dream for me! Here’s a few from our morning together.

Jason is one of my husband’s oldest friends, they met in third grade. It was such an honor to document the wedding of him and his beautiful wife, Amy, last weekend at Lake Casitas. I could not have asked for a more beautiful setting!
Jason and Amy are big disc golf fanatics, and discovered their venue site while playing a game there, how sweet!

I love when friends hire me! Travis is one of my husband’s oldest friends, and he and his wife just welcomed their second child, a girl (!), into this world. I photographed their son about a year and a half ago as a newborn, and now he is a big brother!
