Once in a while something really special happens and I catch a smile. When I am able to capture moments like this for my clients I fall in love with my job all over again. Tyler was such a peaceful sleeper. I don’t think she opened her eyes once until I woke her at the end of our session and she flashed me this open eyed grin! LOVE.

Mom warned me that Makena was a little firecracker and the lightest sleeper. She also mentioned big sis did not sleep for even 1 of her newborn photos. I love a challenge!

Makena was super sweet and cuddly, and slept peacefully for (most) of our session together. Loved her!

Sweet baby Michael came to the studio for his newborn photos at 8 weeks old! He was the oldest newborn I have photographed today. He was so kind to sleep peacefully the entire session. He had THE best hair and cheeks! I love that the older babies have the rolls <3

Here is a small peek!

I was so excited for this session. A friend of the parents called me and wanted to gift them a newborn session for their daughter. This couple has been waiting for this little girl for a very long time, and it was so apparent that she is already so loved. Being an “older” newborn, I was not expecting her to sleep too much, but she surprised me and slept peacefully for a good part of our session together.

Take a peek!

Ok, so I have a bunch of new sessions to share on the blog, but not enough hours in the week to make my way over here. I try to share most of my images on my facebook too, so if you are not already a fan, become one!

Mr. Aiden came to my studio for his newborn photos at almost 2 months! While older newborns can be more difficult to get into a deep sleep, I have been having some luck lately with getting the older babies to sleep for me. He also gave us some incredible eye contact while he was awake! Take a look!

My cousin Natalie and her fiance Esteban are getting married next month here in Claremont. I am so thrilled for them and was so honored when they asked me to photograph their engagement photos. We started off at Union Station for their engagement photos, then finished up at the Disney Music Concert Hall. Take a peek!

This little one gave me some serious baby girl fever! She is so so adorable and has grown so much since I last saw her at her newborn session. I just love watching my little clients grow. Brooke definitely has her own little personality already, she was the perfect model!
